The position

In this role, your main charge is to lead the daily operations within the Financial Controlling & Reporting team, including but not limited to, carrying out operational tasks, deliverables, and participation in various financial projects. You will play a key role in ensuring that we continue to operate effectively and bring great value to our stakeholders and the organization, by supporting and allocating operational tasks within the team in close collaboration with the manager. In addition to the team lead responsibilities, the role entails financial controlling tasks

As Financial Controller, Team Lead, your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and support team in operational duties.
• Performing and developing financial controlling tasks.
• Evaluate and manage financial performance.
• Process optimization and harmonization.
• Support colleagues in operational tasks and deliverables.
• Period end closing activities.
• Internal and external reporting tasks, including group reporting and statutory reporting.
• Balance sheet control and reconciliations.
• Compliance monitoring and follow-up.
• General accounting tasks.
• Financial projects and adhoc tasks.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a person with a can-do attitude, who is solution and process-oriented. You are curious, open and driven to improve and find new, more efficient ways of working, while also having great analytical skills and value teamwork. Having the ability to manage several stakeholders and tasks simultaneously in a collaborative and structured manner will be your key to success in this role.

Ideal candidates also meet the following requirements:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or similar.
• Have 3+ years of previous relevant work experience in financial controlling, auditing, accounting or similar.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in working with external and internal reporting.
• Experience in period end closing processes.
• Good grasp of external regulations and internal control compliance.
• Problem-solving attitude and hands-on approach with high energy and work ethics.
• Self-driven and results-oriented.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and an avid BI-system user.
• Strong verbal and written skills in both English and Swedish.

Bonus requirements:

• Previous team lead experience.
• Experience from Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Cognos.
• Experience working with improvements of financial processes.
