If this sounds like a challenge you are interested in, we are now looking for a Payroll Specialist to strengthen the team in our office in Stockholm. At Viaplay, the payroll specialist has an important position with varied tasks, where we provide professional support to all Viaplay's managers and employees. With service and problem solving as a guiding principle, you support payroll related tasks, labor law and collective agreements, as well as have external contacts and reporting to ex authorities.

The position

As a payroll specialist, you are responsible for ensuring the ongoing salary payment of primarily salaried employees. You review and ensure that the right salary is paid on time, and you can also become involved in other exciting projects within the organization that concerns the area. The payroll team at Viaplay is passionate about development and improvement.

All Swedish companies are handled in-house, but in our expansion into new markets, we cooperate with external suppliers. In 2022, we have already entered the Netherlands and Spain, but many more markets are coming and here you will be an important part of setting and developing clear, efficient, and safe processes.

Some of our Swedish companies also have recording productions with many temporary employees and extras, and we also handle the payment and reporting of all winners on Viaplay Group's various radio extras.

What we are looking for

To thrive in this role, you are a person who understands the value of good relationships and collaboration. We believe you have a consultative approach, with a meticulous and solution-focused approach as we are looking for an experienced colleague that can drive the work independently, with both a service-oriented, flexible, and positive attitude.

Successful candidates also meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or other post-secondary education in BA or payroll
• 5+ years of professional experience working with payroll
• Proficient communication skills in both Swedish and English.

Bonus requirements:

• Experience user in Hogia Lön Plus
• Experience from working in the time reporting system Quinyx
