If this sounds like a challenge you’re interested in, we’re now looking for a Team Leader for our MCR to strengthen the team in the Stockholm office. 

The position is full-time and based in Stockholm. Evenings, nights and weekends will occur. There is a possibility to work somewhat remote.

The position

With content like Premier League, NHL, UFC, Formula 1 and winter sports, we work with the best sports productions in the world every day of the week. We deliver thousands of hours of live content every month via our streaming service Viaplay and our traditional linear channels.

The MCR in Stockholm is the central hub for all productions across the different markets, and as a Team Leader for our MCR you’ll contribute to our total deliverance of quality content to millions of fans across Europe. The main responsibility of the MCR team is to coordinate, configure and air live transmissions. Job responsibilities as a team leader include maintaining education and training for the team, coordinating workflows within the team and towards other teams and oversee and plan shift schedule for employees. You will communicate between and coordinate the markets and your role will be central in our team. As a team leader, you will have a close teamwork with the MCR team but also with the live operations manager. Important responsibilities for you will be troubleshooting issues, deal with staff related issues and be the first point of contact for the MCR regarding the technical equipment and capability in MCR

What we are looking for

To be our MCR Team Leader and to do well in the role, you need to pay great attention to details, have a strong ability to improve workflows, wanting to make a good team even greater and be capable of deliver in a high-pressure deadline-driven environment.

We believe you come from a technical broadcast background and are a problem solver with willingness to address challenges head-on. You are a good communicator, a collaborator who enjoys interacting with both colleagues and suppliers and takes an interest in evolving as a professional.

Ideal candidates also meet the following requirements:

• Fluent English and basic Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
• Experience from TV production and knowledge of broadcast signals and formats
• Interest and understanding of technical systems

Bonus requirements that will make you stand out from the rest:

• Experience from working with and understanding live sport
• Have worked as a team leader before
