Investor Relations Manager

The position
The investor relations manager supports our Head of Investor Relations and plays an important role in fulfilling our mission to provide the best - in - class storytelling, information and insight to external and internal audiences including investors, analysis, management, and directors. The Investor Relations Manager is part of our broader Corporate Affairs function and also works closely with our Corporate Communications, Finance, Strategy and M&A teams.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Helping to develop the investment case, equity story and key messages.
- Participating in 1:1 and group meetings and events with analysts and investors to market and promote the investment case and attract new shareholders.
- Anaysis and targeting of potential new shareholders.
- Managing the meeting tracker database and providing internal meeting participants with advance profile information about external meeting participants.
- Helping to develop and maintain relationships with investors, analysis and corporate access teams.
- Preparing drafts of quarterly results statements, video and conference call scripts, Q&As, presentations, news releases and other internal reporting, corporate disclosure and marketing materials.
- Managing the investor relations calendar and planning and executing on participation in investor and analyst activities including site visits, seminars, conferences and road shows. Planning, developing and managing delivery of Capital Markets Day and assisting with shareholder general meetings.
- Monitoring the shareholder list and providing updates to management and directs.
- Managing the investor relations budget to include setting and delivery of annual budget and participating in regular updates with business controllers.
- Preparing, developing, and managing the production of the Annual and Sustainability report.
- Monitoring analyst coverage and estimate regarding Viaplay Group and industry peer companies, as well as peer and industry announcements, in order to provide updates to management and directors.
- Comparing sell-side estimates with internal forecasts and keeping an up to date consensus.
- Evaluating and developing the results disclosure structure, in order to support the story and enable fair valuation.
- Updating the investor relations section of the corporate website.
- Working closely and effectively with the Corporate Affairs and other functions to produce, develop and deliver key message.
- Accomplishing financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating correct actions.

The ideal candidate is structured and analytical with the ability to understand large and complex issues but also pay attention to details. Successful candidates also meet the following requirements:
- 3+ years of financial markets or corporate communications experience, preferably from a stock market listed company, bank, broker or investment company
- Proven ability to understand financial reporting in a communications context
- Ability to manage projects simultaneously and collaborate across functions
- Excellent communication skills (fluent spoken and written) in English and Swedish
- Academic degree in Business or equivalent
- Ability to work in an international setting
