Right now, we’re searching for a Media Planner in our London office or remotely from Scotland – are you ready to hit play on an exciting career change?
The role
Viaplay Group’s Marketing and Communications department is responsible for communicating and promoting our prioritized content while keeping our brand’s best interest in mind. Our KPI’s are driving D2C sales, which we do through building awareness and engagement. As a Media Planner we need you to combine creative thinking with factual analysis and develop strategies that ensures our campaigns reach their target audiences as effectively as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for setting the planning guidelines for media strategy, planning and buying on UK and North America markets.
- Work as project lead on selected projects with focus on handling the relationship with key business partners / channels
- Work closely with agency partners, making sure that the collaboration is always being evaluated and optimized toward sales.
- Prepare analysis and insights for the UK and North America market (Brand lift, campaign surveys, campaign evaluations, facebook and google insights)
- Attend training and on own initiative develop relevant knowledge and skills
- Apply knowledge of media and communication platforms to identify the most appropriate mediums for building awareness of the Viaplay brand. Bring Innovation and pro-activeness.
What we’re looking for

- You have experience working within digital agency prior to this role.
- You thrive in a dynamic environment, can work at fast-paced meeting short deadlines.
- You can work independently and are not afraid of trying new things.
- You thrive in an environment with a great deal of cross-function collaboration and understand how to act within it.
It’s a bonus if you have:
- an experience or interest in sports;
- a good understanding of the Scottish media landscape.
