The journey ahead

This is a great opportunity to gain exposure across all parts of Viaplay Group and interact with the executive management team and stakeholders across the operations and the finance organisation. High involvement in critical processes for Viaplay Group and a broad range of other activities that overall will give a very good grounding in commercial finance and business control, as well as risk management.

The position

This role is an opportunity to work in the team that are responsible for Viaplay Group’s financial planning, forecasting and analysis, management reporting and a broad range of other areas across finance both commercial and technical. The role is split approx. 50/50 with 2 focus areas, firstly supporting the financial planning and management reporting processes and secondly running the risk management processes for Viaplay Group. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Continue to develop and run the risk management process across Viaplay Group, including analysis of risks in our financial plans and operations, scenario planning
• Support business areas in risk handling and risk reporting processes
• Owner of KPI data from across Viaplay Group, review and analysis / insights, producing monthly reports and quarterly packs for Investor Relations and Group CEO/CFO
• Support monthly management reporting process
• Support financial planning and forecasting process
• Development and improvement of the monthly management report to executive management and the Board.
• Ad hoc projects related to M&A activities, strategic initiatives, investment appraisal.

What we are looking for

To thrive in this role, you have a financial background and enjoy working in a fast paced organisation. You are both analytical and commercially minded, technically solid and with a high attention to details.

Successful candidates also meet the following requirements:

• Experienced business or financial controller, 1-2 years’ experience in finance or commercial function
• Bachelor’s degree or similar experience
• Highly proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
