Right now, we’re searching for a Payroll Specialist in our Copenhagen office – are you ready to hit play on an exciting career change?

The role

This role will be the contact person to our external payroll provider and for the employees and managers in Denmark when there are questions regarding salary, pension, holidays, maternity leave, sick leave etc.

• The contact person to our external Payroll provider
• Daily conversations with the employees when questions regarding salaries, holiday, pension, health insurance etc.
• Approving the monthly salaries, which besides salaries, contains holiday payments, pension, payment for lunch, commission/bonus, mileage allowance
• Commision/bonus calculation
• Calculating headcounts and FTE’s to internal and external reporting
• Handling holiday – making sure that all employees register their holiday, approve the holidays
• Maintain our absence tool

What we’re looking for

We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have at least some experience in the following:

• 5+ years of experience working with People and Payroll
• Experience in leading work regarding legislation holiday rules, parental leave rules etc.
• Working with people and solving HR related problems
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office Package
• Great speaking and writing skills in both Danish and English

It’s a bonus if you have:

• Experience from working in Jira, Cezanne and Visma HR
• A can-do attitude, sense of humor and the ability to work humbly with others.
