The Role
As Technical Account Manager at Viaplay, you will be responsible for partnership success from the technical point of view, to deliver excellent Viaplay experiences for our partner customers. While teaming up with the Wholesale team, you will own the technical relationship for assigned accounts and help drive technical adoption, accelerated technical value, and continued technical maturity of the Viaplay platform for our partners.
This role will serve as a trusted technical advisor, responsible for defining the Viaplay technology strategy for our partners and helping them achieve strong technical use of our integration to optimize collaboration and empower long-term value. You will be part of the Product team responsible for developing our partnership integration, working closely with the Product Managers and developers to ensure a deep understanding of the technical strategies and solutions. You will also be taking part in the development cycle by contributing valuable insight from our partners’ experience to further improve our integration and KPI’s.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and drive technical collaboration for integration projects such as launching a new partner or launching a new product or feature with an existing partner
- Drive adoption and engagement of the latest features within all our integrations and ultimately contribute to retention and expansion in the partnership lifecycle
- Facilitate technical support for partner or customer issue troubleshooting and advocate day-to-day inquiries and requests from partners
- Empower partnerships product and engineering teams to use our integration and partner support platform as independently and efficiently as possible
- Gather and share relevant insights and feedback from the partners to our Product teams on an ongoing basis, to help further improve our partnership integration and partner support platform
The position will be temporary, covering a parental leave from July 2025 until the end of March 2026.
What we’re looking for
We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have at least some experience in the following:
- Solid experience of working with implementation, technical support and/or customer success for a large-scale technical product
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Experience of both internal and external stakeholder management
- A natural problem-solver, with a high level of curiosity and bravery
- Extensive experience of project management, including handling multiple projects at once. You are knowledgeable in requirement gathering, analysis and break-down
It’s a bonus if you have:
- Experience of working with B2B partnerships
- Experience from the media, streaming or entertainment sectors
