The role 

We are seeking an experienced and commercial Business Controller to join our finance team, focusing on our Allente business. As a Business Controller, you will play a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams, this opportunity is for you!

· Strategic partnership: close collaboration with the commercial leadership organisation, driving the financial agenda and providing actionable and insights and support business excellence.

· Financial Analysis: Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support business growth.

· Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to create budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

· Performance Metrics: Develop and track KPIs to measure business performance and identify areas for improvement.

· Cost Control: Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement efficient processes.

· Management Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely reports for management and stakeholders.

· Ad Hoc Projects: Contribute to strategic projects and initiatives as needed.

What we’re looking for 

We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have at least some experience in the following:

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

· 4-7 years of experience as a Business Controller or similar role.

· Proficiency in financial modelling, Excel, and BI systems.

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

It’s a bonus if you have:

· Experience of working in the entertainment industry or Telco industry.
