The role
The Local Programmatic Specialist for Sweden will report to the Head of Programmatic (based in Denmark) and play a hands-on role in executing and optimizing our programmatic video advertising campaigns. This role will work closely with the Ad Sales department to support and enhance sales performance, ensuring our programmatic offerings meet client needs and drive revenue growth.
Campaign Execution and Optimization
• Collaborate with the Programmatic Ad Planner to set up, monitor, and optimize programmatic video campaigns to meet performance goals and KPIs
• Conduct daily checks on campaign pacing, delivery, and performance, ensuring proper alignment with the Programmatic Ad Planner’s workflow
• Troubleshoot issues related to campaign delivery, targeting, or technical setup, working with internal stakeholders, and external partners to resolve them promptly
Collaboration with Ad Sales
• Partner closely with the local Ad Sales department to understand client needs and provide programmatic solutions that align with their objectives
• Act as a programmatic expert for the sales team, supporting them in client meetings and offering technical guidance
• Provide insights, performance data, and recommendations to the sales team to help increase sales performance and strengthen client relationships
• Develop tailored strategies with Ad Sales to maximize revenue opportunities from programmatic inventory
Agency Technical Support
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for agency partners to resolve issues and optimize campaigns
• Work closely with agencies to understand and meet their programmatic needs and offer solutions that enhance campaign performance
• Develop educational resources and training sessions for agency partners on our programmatic offerings
Data and Audience Segmentation
• Leverage audience data and insights to improve targeting and campaign performance
• Work with the Head of Programmatic to implement audience segmentation strategies
• Monitor audience performance metrics and provide insights for future optimization
Yield and Inventory Optimization
• Assist in yield management by monitoring CPMs, fill rates, and ad inventory availability
• Collaborate with the Head of Programmatic to test different yield strategies and provide feedback on results
• Regularly review and adjust ad placements and frequency to improve user experience and inventory utilization
What we’re looking for
We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have at least some experience in the following:
- A degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years in programmatic advertising, with experience in video preferred
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with SSPs, DSPs, and ad serving technologies. Understanding of audience data and targeting strategies
- Analytical Abilities: Strong data analysis skills with the ability to generate insights from campaign performance data
- Communication: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with external partners and stakeholders
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive in identifying issues and finding efficient solutions in a fast-paced environmen
