The role

As Finance Operations Specialist, you are part of the Finance Operations team working with 25 Viaplay entities. You´ll be joining a team of 14 colleagues located in Stockholm. We´re a part of Global Business Services and all together we´re 35 colleagues working closely together. The Finance Operation is responsible for the daily operations in the processes: Order to cash, Travel and expense, Purchase to pay and Record to report.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Review, match, and post invoices like a pro
• Handle supplier queries and ensure payments go out on time
• Monitor incoming payments and follow up on overdue receivables

Month-end processes:

• Perform reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, intercompany)
• Support journal entry preparation and accruals
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end closing activities
• Reporting (internal and external)

Expense & travel management:

• Administer employee expenses and corporate card reconciliations

Process improvements & automation:

• Identify gaps and inefficiencies in current processes
• Suggest and implement improvements

Cross-team collaboration:

• Work closely with other parts of Finance and the Business
• Support internal and external audits

What we’re looking for

We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have at least some experience in the following: 

• Hold a bachelor’s degree within Finance, Accounting or similar.
• Have 5+ years relevant work experience within Accounting.
• Strong hands-on approach
• Thrive in a fast-changing environment.
• Team player
• Confident in English both written and verbally

It’s a bonus if you have:

• Experience of working with D365 Financial Operations.
• Experience working in Shared Services.
