People & Culture Generalist

We’re looking for the best people to join us on our journey. Right now, we’re searching for a People & Culture Generalist in our Stockholm office. This is a one-year parental leave cover position, starting at the end of 2025. We have an office first approach meaning that most of the work will take place at our office in Stockholm. The role
We are looking for someone who will contribute to the positive and inspiring atmosphere in our team. You thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy coaching and supporting managers, and are ready to roll up your sleeves when needed. We believe that you have a genuine interest in people and culture and are a true team player.
You are independent and communicative, which means that you can identify what needs to be done and take initiatives to solve different situations.
- Advise and support managers on a wide range of employee relations and personnel matters.
- Participate in the implementation and execution of the Viaplay Group yearly people processes in your function/markets, led by the Head of People & Culture.
- Proactively coach and support managers in your assigned functions on the entire employee lifecycle; people matters, labour law, etc.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and support employee well-being.
- Ensure that we are compliant in labour law and work environment and participate in keeping policies up to date and ensure that we handle employee data in accordance with local legislation
- Perform administrative tasks and provide support in employee-related matters through our service desk.
What we’re looking for
We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have experience in the following:
- University degree within a relevant area.
- 2-3+ years of experience working in a P&C generalist role or equivalent with proven HR knowledge, such as people matters, rehabilitation, and the P&C yearly processes.
- Solid understanding of labor laws, compliance requirements and experience of working with union negotiations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent ability to communicate in Swedish and English.
