PR & Partnership Marketing Project Manager (Maternity cover)

We’re looking for the best people to join us on our journey. Right now, we’re searching for a proactive and highly organized PR & Partnership Marketing Project Manager to join our team as a maternity cover for our Helsinki office – are you ready to hit play on an exciting career change?
This is a fixed-term maternity cover position, starting as soon as possible. The contract will run at least until the end of the year, with the exact end date depending on business needs.
The role
In this hybrid role, you will drive strong partnership marketing execution and manage local PR activities, ensuring clear and consistent communication in the Finnish market. You will collaborate closely with commercial, marketing, and PR teams across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Marketing & Project Management
Manage and support partners’ marketing campaigns for Viaplay’s products and consumer brands, working closely with the Commercial and Marketing teams.
Maintain proactive, ongoing communication with partners’ marketing teams to ensure smooth planning, alignment, and execution of campaign activities.
Coordinate the creation, localization, and delivery of marketing assets for B2B and B2C partners; review and approve partner-produced materials.
Write and distribute partner newsletters and support events, giveaways, and other local partner activations.
Public Relations
Create, localize, and distribute press releases about Viaplay’s content and company updates; serve as a day‑to‑day contact for local journalists and media outlets.
Maintain strong media relationships and ensure timely, accurate communication of Viaplay’s news and developments in Finland.
Coordinate media inquiries and support interviews, statements, and other PR activities as needed.
What we’re looking for
We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have at least some experience in the following:
Experience in coordinating and executing marketing campaigns.
Practical knowledge of producing, localizing, and reviewing marketing and communication assets.
Strong written communication skills in English and Finnish, Swedish is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work efficiently with cross‑functional teams.
Familiarity with media relations and handling incoming requests from journalists or partners.
