The role
We are looking for a TV Scheduler to join our FTV team in Stockholm. In this role, you will support the day-to-day scheduling of Viaplay’s Free-TV channels, helping ensure accurate and engaging channel schedules while maximizing the value of our content and sports rights.
Working closely with the scheduling team, sports team, and analytics, you will contribute to the smooth daily operation of our channels and support effective use of our content portfolio.
What you will do
Support the creation and maintenance of schedules for Viaplay’s Free-TV channels.
Maintain scheduling systems and tools, ensuring all schedule information is accurate and up to date.
Work closely with the scheduling team to support daily planning and prioritization of content.
Collaborate with analytics teams to monitor viewing performance and support effective use of content rights.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure events and related programming are scheduled correctly.
Assist with schedule updates and last-minute adjustments when needed.
Contribute to improving scheduling workflows, documentation, and internal processes.
What we’re looking for
We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have at least some experience in the following:
You are communicative with an administrative focus and passionate about what you do.
You are structured, detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment where schedules can change quickly.
Experience in scheduling, broadcast operations, media planning or a similar environment is a plus.
You have at least 1 year of work experience from an administrative role.
Analytical and structured, good at handling large amounts of data.
You are thorough, well organized and excels at administrative work.
Proven ability to work independently, as well as part of a close team.
Able to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines.
Excellent written and spoken English and Swedish.
Good general computer knowledge (PC) and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel. Adaptable to new systems.
