Personnel Planner
At Viaplay Group, we entertain millions of people every day through our streaming services, radio networks, and TV channels. We believe in the power of content not just as a way of telling stories and touching lives, but also expanding worlds.
We’re looking for the best people to join us on our journey. Right now, we’re searching for a Personnel Planner in our Stockholm office – are you ready to hit play on an exciting career change?
The role
You will share primary responsibility with a colleague for managing both short- and long-term personnel bookings, ensuring our business operations. Every other weekend, you will be on call. Your duties include overseeing staffing for all broadcasted events in Stockholm, ensuring proper coverage for both employees and freelance consultants.
As the main point of contact for all staff booking and scheduling inquiries, you will also coordinate responsibilities with your teammate, concerning control room staff, catering, and related scheduling tasks. As a personnel planner, you will work daily with Viaplay’s databases and booking systems, as well as process and approve invoices from freelancers.
What we’re looking for
We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have at least some experience in the following:
- Staff booking.
- Communication with different stakeholders to reach daily goals.
- Information gathering.
- Social skills – you are the one connecting people and continuously keeping good business relationships.
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
It’s a bonus if you have:
- Broadcast/control room experience or knowledge from tv production coordination.
- Some kind of interest for sports, big or small, as we think it would be positive for yourself. Though, it’s not a requirement to be successful in the role.
- A can-do attitude, a sense of humor and the ability to work humbly with others.
What we offer you
We’ve got you covered! 30 days of paid vacation every year, an attractive pension and insurance scheme, and generous parental leave pay lift.
Your wellbeing matters. We provide you with various wellbeing initiatives including wellness allowance.
A safe space to grow and up-skill. Our learning culture puts you in the driver’s seat of your own development.
Entertainment is what we love, and entertainment is what we do. So, unlimited access to Viaplay seems only fair for you to get to know the product – including series & viewing events, new release movie rentals, linear channels and more.
