The role
As Content Planning Manager, you will own the long-term strategic planning of our acquired portfolio across SVOD and PTV. Your mission is to translate strategy and budgets into a clear, commercially optimized content roadmap that maximizes impact across territories and platforms.
You will act as the central planning authority - connecting acquisitions, local programming teams, performance insights and editorial priorities, while leading and developing the Content Planning team.
This is a highly cross-functional role at the heart of our content organization.
Key Responsibilities
Own strategic planning across all acquired content portfolios.
Build and maintain the annual and quarterly master content plan, defining tentpoles and focus periods.
Optimize portfolio pacing and budget allocation in line with ROI targets and lifecycle performance.
Ensure alignment across Movies, Series, Factual and Kids, balancing central strategy with local market priorities.
Partner closely with local teams to secure strong territorial execution and revenue delivery.
Prevent internal cannibalization across SVOD, PTV, FTV and Store.
Translate strategy into acquisition timing and deal requirements.
Lead scenario planning and proactively flag risks, overlaps and gaps.
Lead and develop the Content Planning team with clear direction, accountability and performance focus.
What we’re looking for
You are a structured and forward-thinking planner with strong commercial instincts. You understand that planning is not only about structure , it’s about timing, positioning, prioritisation, and ultimately driving business performance and growth. You likely have experience within content strategy, portfolio planning, acquisitions or media planning, and have led or coordinated teams in a strategic function.

Highly analytical and commercially minded
A confident leader who creates clarity and direction
Strong in cross-functional and cross-territory collaboration
Experienced in working with budgets, ROI thinking and performance targets
Comfortable balancing central strategy with local market needs
Proactive in identifying risks and opportunities early
Passionate about movies and series
Fluent in English and preferable at least one Scandinavian language
