The role
As a MA Team Lead, you will work in the CRM team. The role is a unique opportunity to become a part of a MA omni-channel experience.
Our job is to inform, engage and entertain customers through email, push notifications and in-app messaging. We help onboard, find new favorites to watch, learn to use features and much more – for positive effects on retention, sales, and reactivation. We are in the middle of an exciting personalization journey where you can help shape the future of CRM at Viaplay with strategic input and a data-driven mindset.
Responsibilities of the MA team include planning, setting up and sending activities and personalization journeys, as well as monitoring performance and drive optimization. You will work closely with Product & Tech department and commercial stakeholders cross market.
As MA Team Lead your tasks will include:
- Lead and coach the MA team
- Prioritize, delegate and secure progress of activities and daily operations of the MA team
- Lead or initiate projects where you, together with the full CRM team, internal and external product and tech teams improve MA systems, performance and processes
- Suggest activities that align with CRM strategic goals and Viaplay overall strategy
- Ensure that messaging activities are impactful; track relevant KPI’s and constantly optimize towards better performance
- Contribute to continuous learning and our growth marketing process; carry out A/B tests, proactive follow-up, report on results and apply learnings on future messaging activities

What we’re looking for
As a MA Team Lead, you will be the heart of things. It’s essential to be very structured, organized, and forward leaning with a go-getter attitude. You have a passion for CRM and want to strengthen the customer experience.
To excel, we believe you are a proactive self-driven doer and enjoy working towards improving your own and the team performance. You have an interest that goes across areas such as data, tech and tools with a bit of performance and reporting blended in. We believe that you have at least three years of work experience within CRM, marketing automation, digital marketing or similar. To be a successful candidate you:
- Solid experience in MA or CRM in an international and multi/omnichannel D2C/B2B environment
- A structured and careful mindset setting a high bar for commercial performance as well as customer experience and operations quality
- An excellent communicator and experience in presenting, evangelizing to and working with external stakeholders such as system vendors and development teams
- An analytical eye, able to search for constant improvements in messaging effects, process output etc. You are familiar to tap into data and reports to understand and improve.
- Hold a relevant Bachelor or Master’s degree within business, marketing or equivalent
- Fluency in English
Bonus requirements that make you stand out from the rest
- Experience in owning and progressing complex tasks and projects in the realm of MA or CRM, such as the implementation of new datasets, system functions and processes
- Having worked hands-on in Adobe Campaign, Salesforce or similar
- Using reporting tools, such as e.g. Thoughspot
